The Land of Wonders exhibit is a great way to take a walk through the Pre Columbian period that Costa Rica experienced and the evolution of the societies that lived in days past. There are over 225 objects, some with amazing detail and remarkable expressions from the period.
Life and Death in the Nicoya Gulf is an exhibit that takes you through a way of life and death for the Nicoyans in the periods of 800 to 1350 AD.
The Pre Columbian Room features pottery from the periods starting 12,000 BC right up to the Spaniards arrival in the 1500's.
A wealth of information is found in the building in it's library, exhibits, publications and current research projects.
Exhibitions are help throughout the year and feature some wonderful artifacts & cultural highlights.
