Nightlife in Costa Rica swings from one end of the pendulum to another making the choices easy in larger cities like San Jose and a little more challenging in the smaller ones. Any region you visit you are bound to find something to fill your nights.

The Central Valley Region area offers the usual for large cities, like San Jose and Escazu, with casinos, nightclubs, bars, performing arts, live music and more.  The smaller towns will have fewer choices but there are always the favorites of the locals that attract visitors, as well as a host of scheduled events that make way for fun evenings.
