For over a quarter of a century, the natural heritage items housed in the museum have served as ambassadors for Costa Rica in exhibits and museums all over the world.
The high quality of the jade artwork is a reflection of artists from different time periods throughout history of Costa Rica.
The Pre-Columbian artifacts lend a history of each region it was collected from and represents accumulated knowledge in handiwork handed down from generation to generation. There a wide range of shapes and sizes, many with ornamental carvings and etched symbols.

General Admission is $8.00 for Adults
Children and students under 12 are free
