The owner of Carpediem Restaurant and Lounge is from the Puglia region of Italy and brings his knowledge of traditional dishes and fuses them with modern flavors and techniques to make entirely unique meals. The menu is full of amazing items including fantastic pastas, wildly flavored meats, exotic seafood dishes, and the best steaks available in Costa Rica. Some of our favorites include the White Parmigiana Eggplant with Manchego and Tuscany sausage sauce - WOW. The Ravioli stuffed with wild duck and Italian ham with a butter sage sauce make my mouth water just thinking about it. My wife enjoyed the sea bass cooked 'Al Cartoccio' with leeks and cherry tomatoes. The most exciting dish for me was the pan seared beef tenderloin.
